Students are responsible for bringing ALL supplies/equipment to class daily.

Percussion Equipment:

* Practice Pad
* Drum Sticks: Vic Firth, SD 1 General

Brass Equipment:

* Instrument in good working order.
* Mouthpiece--Students using school owned instruments have their own mouthpieces supplied by school.
* Valve oil and slide oil for brass instruments.

Woodwind Equipment:

* Instrument in good working order.
* Mouthpiece--Students using school owned instruments have their own mouthpieces supplied by school. (Mouthpiece suggestion for clarinet: Vandoren hard rubber mouthpiece. Mouthpiece suggestion for Saxophone: Selmer C Star, hard rubber)
* Reeds for clarinets and saxes.  Select the hardness of reed according to your playing ability.  7th and 8th grade clarinets should be using at least #3.  The Thompson Band program does supply reeds: Clarinet $1, Alto Sax $2, Bass Clarinet, Tenor Sax and Baritone Sax $3.  Any of the local music stores sell reeds.  Parents, I suggest that you buy reeds by the box so your student will have a good reed available at all times.

Everyday Equipment For All:

* Instrument
* All Necessary Supplies/Equipment
* Band Folder

Concert Attire:

* White button-down long sleeved shirt or blouse
* Black Dress Pants or Black Skirt (below the knee)
* Black socks and solid black dress shoes
* Band Polo-shirts (Intermediate and Advanced Band students)
